Story

The history of this small but great company began in 1890 when our great-grandfather Giuseppe Miraglia started the market of olives in the small shop of Largo Santissimi Apostoli in Naples, exporting mainly from Itri countryside, where the famous Gaeta olives were harvested by hand and loaded onto wooden carts and then be transported to the port area where, by means of sailing ships, they came in various trading ports of Italy.
However it was since 1956, with his son Giovanni Miraglia that the activity had a remarkable growth thanks to the sale of a varied types of olives, including those of the Trapani, from Sicily campaigns, and those of Greece. Under his leadership, the Miraglia s.r.l. He began also trade the famous capers from Pantelleria and that of vegetables in oil, the production of extra virgin olive oil, produced from olives of the Belice Valley in Sicily. So it was that the business was moved to what today is the historic headquarters of the company in Naples in Via San Giovanni a Carbonara.

Today, unfortunately, the dear Gianni is no longer with us but will remain for anyone who knew him , the heart of a company which has dedicated his life and which today continues to live in his memory , cultivating the great dream of making it a leader, both in Italy and abroad.
